Lieutenant Colonel Jeremy Banta is the Supply Management Officer for the Ohio Army National Guard, United States Property and Fiscal Office, where he’s been a member since 1999; full-time since 2002. He deployed to Iraq in 2003 as the commander of the 1485th Transportation Company, to Kuwait in 2013 as the 371st Sustainment Brigade Personnel Officer and participated in humanitarian relief missions in Nicaragua and Louisiana. He’s an Adjunct Professor at Franklin University teaching Supply Chain courses and occasionally speaks on various leadership topics.
Jeremy’s civilian logistics career spanned over 14 years with Sears, UPS, Big Lots, Value City, Essilor of America and The Keebler Company. He’s held management positions in Shipping, Receiving, Non-Convey, Transportation, Logistics, and Operations as well as being the Manager and/or Assistant Manager at multiple Distribution Centers. He’s volunteered with the Columbus Chamber of Commerce as a Workforce Development, Logistics Steering Committee board member.
